Another Still life

Another still life. Using some glass 

cylinder. bowl and a container with a lid. 

The fun and challenge of painting glass items

is to paint the highlights and shadows in the

glass, so as to try and make it look 

transparent.

I added the rose for two reasons.

1. Give it more color.

2. I did like the way I painted the 

reflective lighting from the bowl

Working on some Still lifes

Years back my Dad and Mom brought me

some stoneware that they had for years.

Wanted to do a painting of these for a long time.

I am making it an effort to do more artwork

away from just drawing caricatures.

Love drawing caricatures. Just want to do more.

 Doing this keeps me off the computer, facebook,

plus sitting watching television. In others words...

Stop wasting time.

Market Square Drawings

Some drawings that I did in past month or 

that I did not until now.

 This couple is from Florida and are moving

to San Antonio because of work.

He could be with his facial features be

a brother of a fellow caricature artist,

Dan Dunn.

 This gentleman is from San Antonio

and I think he is going to cost me more

than what I charge him for the drawing.

He is with a tree cutting business

and I have two trees that have died.

I asked if we could a trade out.

Here is a young couple visiting

 The  photo below was a fun drawing.

The guy called me a couple days before 

Saturday and said he wanted to propose

to his girl friend and use a caricature to do it.

This is more common than you think.

But you still hear the crowd watching

saying what a creative way to propose.
